We are so fortunate to have such a wonderful group of friends and family that wanted to celebrate Maddie’s impending arrival! We were spoiled with two lovely showers and so many beautiful gifts to start our family with.

Aunt Carol hosted a shower for Maddie at her home on January 4th. Baby socks adorned the former Christmas tree and a “Guess the birth date” game kept Kristen and Dan amused. (And nobody thought she’d be here early…fools!!)  The delicious soups and salads were so nice with the cold weather and snow on the ground. Sharon and Katie’s crafting showed in all the creative details.

Devon hosted a shower at the Humphries’ compound on January 18th. Friends from near and far gathered for great food, games and even a beer cake for Dan. The “Draw a baby on a paper plate that’s on top of your head” game provided lots of laughs and the “Guess how big around Kristen is” game didn’t cause any tears. Overall, the “Feed your partner pudding while you both are blindfolded” game provided maximum entertainment. Screenshots from the videos are captured below.
