MADELINE AT ELEVEN MONTHS

Madeline is brushing her teeth. She likes to offer her slobbery toothbrush to Mommy and Daddy. She’s VERY big on sharing. She shares toys and food with all of her friends including Lucas and Winnie the Pooh. She is becoming more of an inspector every day. She loves looking at thing from every angle and inquires about every noise.

Maddie still loves music and dances and bounces to her favorite songs. She likes to cheer and clap along when others are doing the same. She gets really excited when you cheer YAY for her and starts clapping and bouncing. She’s starting to communicate more and has expanded her vocabulary to quite a few words. So far we have: Daddy, Dad, Teeth, Katie, Hot, Up, Lion, Roar. She is working really hard on her P’s and B’s and even has her own Maddie noise when you ask her, “What does Maddie say.”

She is so lovey and sweet right now. She gets so excited when you tell her that you love her and snuggles and gives something similar to a hug sometimes. She LOVES playing “I chase you, now you chase me” with Daddy. She crawls at super speed to Mommy to rescue her from an impending tickle attack. She’s getting more mobile every day, walking along furniture and only holding on with one hand at times. She will “walk” with you when you hold her hands and guide her.

Eating: Cheerios (her favorite!!), eggs, bananas, brisket, turkey sausage, potato latkes,  yogurt and anything Mommy, Daddy and Grandmum are eating that can be mushed by 5 teeth.

Restaurants Maddie has successfully dined in: Shea’s, Taco Love, Qdoba, Panera, Olive Garden, R&R Taqueria and MXDC Cocina Mexicana.

Step 1: snug her up with lots of layers

Step 2: be prepared for her to want to stay outside as long as possible

Step 3: crank up the heat and sing wheels on the bus

Madeline was slam dunking like whoa with her new hoop. She immediately knew what to do. Next step, free throws.

Madeline’s first Chanukah was kicked off in glorious fashion…first with the lighting the Menorah which included an attempt at wearing a yamaka…

…and then with eating latkes – 100% homemade by mommy and 100% delicious!

FEED ME LATKES!!!

Madeline loved the lakes, but someone kept trying to steal them…

She then was able to celebrate with all her cousins.

Madeline’s hair is getting so long…this is how it looked when she woke up this morning.

She was still sleepy during breakfast and starting falling asleep while eating.

But then she woke up and was ready for another busy day.
